Three Healthy evening snacks that every fighter should eat - Muay Thai camp

Training yourself the whole day at a Muay Thai camp can drain a significant amount of energy from your body. Besides, it also strips away your natural minerals from your body followed by some muscle loss. As nothing is more precious than your life, replenish yourself with a healthy evening snack enriched with protein, vitamins, and minerals to compensate your nutritional loss.

Top healthy snacks for Muay Thai fighters:
1. Steamed chicken:
Chicken is the best source of lean protein. With a high dose of 20-30 gm. of protein in every 100 gm., chicken serves as the best healthy meal out there. While steaming is the most preferred option, you can also have them pan tossed with a little olive or mustard oil, a perfect snacks to have post training. Always choose chicken breast as they contain the highest amount of protein with the lowest amount of fat and a negligible level of carbs. Shred your cooked chicken in pieces and add some lemon juice. Add some salt, followed by some chili flakes and other seasoning ingredients.
2. Egg whites:
Egg whites are also a good source of protein. With just 17 calories per piece, an egg is considered as the healthiest and low calorific food. Make a healthy omelet for your evening snack. Use three egg whites and one full egg. Beat them nicely, add some seasonings, salt, graded cottage cheese and grated onion. Take your omelet with a glass of orange juice or toned milk for a change of taste.
3. Chickpeas:
If you are a vegetarian, then chickpea can be your alternative for eggs and chicken. 100 gram of chickpea contains around 20 gram of protein and 17 grams of dietary fibers. 100 gm chickpea also includes 9 gm fat and 60-grams carbohydrates which add up to 360 calories compared to chicken and egg, which are 165 Cal and 56 Cal respectively. So eat accordingly. Add lemon juice, salt, tomato pieces, onions, peppers and other ingredients to boiled chickpea and make a hearty salad for you.
